Construction Underway in Warralily

Construction begins.

WARRALILY, a master planned development in the growing suburb of Armstrong Creek, is just 10 minutes from the city centre of Geelong and 10 minutes to the Surf Coast beaches.

THE first sod was turned at the $100 million Warralily commercial precinct in Armstrong Creek today.

Geelong Mayor Darryn Lyons was joined by Warralily directors, Mark Whinfield and Mark Casey, South Barwon MP Andrew Katos, plus representatives from Woolworths, the anchor tenant of the precinct to be known as Warralily Village.

About 200 construction jobs are anticipated in creating the mix of specialty shops, cafes, office spaces, school and sports facilities for the growth hub.
